The Perfect Poet (Percy) was a fantastic addition to the Basher Watts Racing Syndicate in February 2026. He gave very highly recommended from his trainer Ben Pauling and he soon justified his high reputation when winning by 6 lengths on his debut at Fontwell in very impressive fashion. He then took his owners to a fantastic day out to Aintree on Grand National Day when he ran in the Grade 2 Aintree bumper. He is a very exciting Novice Hurdler to look out for!
